writing goals, because posting them somewhere makes me accountable:
  • incorporate a wider variety of vocabulary.
  • eliminate passive voice entirely (someone is ALWAYS acting in rp).
  • vary sentence structure more; sentences need not always begin with subjects/nouns!
  • disengage as a narrator/commentator on the events (no more pithy asides).
  • unpacking my sentences while remaining direct.
