kineticwriting goals, because posting them somewhere makes me accountable:
incorporate a wider variety of vocabulary. eliminate passive voice entirely (someone is ALWAYS acting in rp). vary sentence structure more; sentences need not always begin with subjects/nouns! disengage as a narrator/commentator on the events (no more pithy asides). unpacking my sentences while remaining direct.
kineticteleios
Teleios is a small, plot-based redemption game that is set in a fantasy world of the same name. Characters rack up a "debt" based on their canon and pre-canon actions, and are brought to Teleios in order to work that debt off by rebuilding the city in order to earn their passage into Utopia.
The game has no network, though it does have P2P and small group calling features. It's primarily action-based, and posts can be made in actionspam or prose formats, and everyone has demonstrated openness to either format. The game runs in real time where 1 day IRL = 1 day in game.
There are fully interactive, regularly available NPCs with whom characters can build CR. There is a metaplot that interacts with characters and players through mission plots that the agents send teams of indebted (player characters) on intermittently.
Reserves are always open, and a reserve is needed to apply. Applications are open through the 29th (they will open again May 15), and all new characters arrive on the 1st of each month.teleios |
